What should I do next?
If you like what you see and would like to find out more, please contact us. We will send you some more information and add you to our mailing list so that you’ll receive our quarterly newsletter with details of upcoming meets and activities.
We will also get back to you to help you get to know us and arrange for you to join us on one of our meets. Our aim is to make sure you find like-minded friends within the Rucksack Club and we’ll also try to identify a ‘buddy’ who lives nearby or shares similar interests to help you settle in.
Why not come along on one of our meets – maybe an evening at a local crag or a weekend in one of the huts? This is a great way of getting to know the Club and some of its members.
The Rucksack Club is affiliated to the British Mountaineering Council and the BMC Participation Statement applies:
“The BMC recognises that climbing, hill walking and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.”
