From Kinder Scout to Katmandu
The anthology of articles from the Rucksack Club Journal was published in 1987. Legacies from Jim Lomas, Mrs. Deane and Mrs. Eversden contributed substantially to the costs. The editors have tried to keep a balance between the climbing, walking and exploring activities of the Club, and have included light hearted as well as serious articles. The selection also reflects the changing flavour of mountaineering from the early years of the century to the present day, which has been highlighted by keeping the articles in chronological order. A few copies are still available, and may be obtained for £5.00 from Gerry Gee.
