Craigallan
The Hut is equipped with fitted bunks and mattresses for 12, with occasional mattresses for an overflow of 6 in the lounge. Full cooking and kitchen fittings, washrooms, toilets, showers and drying facilities are provided. Electricity is supplied, and in use for permanent background heating and frost protection. Space heating is by means of a solid-fuel stove in the dining room, and coal is available from the outside bunker.
Small parties from Kindred Clubs may be allowed to use the Hut at the Warden's discretion.
The Committee does not consider that the hut is suitable for family use.
There is space for ten cars in the grounds at the rear, and vehicles can be parked on the forestry track but should not be left on the verge of the main road. Use of mobile homes and camping in the grounds are permitted, with the same overnight fees as for sleeping in the Hut.
